Experimental cocktail night at Craftbar! On the left, ginger limeade with rosewater mocktail. On the right, a Shadyside Fizz, with 1 ounce of Angostura bitters, 1 ounce tequila, 3/4 ounce lime, egg white, and soda. Awesome bartender Steven got the recipe from the Beta Cocktails book, and has a ton of his own amazing cocktails at the bar.
Jackalope recommended: Morris Marg - vanilla infused tequila, Campari, grapefruit, agave, salt rim. I was skeptical at first, but the vanilla and grapefruit play nicely together and the Campari adds a nice note to balance the flavors. A must-try drink. At Craftbar in NYC.
Smoke & Honey: mezcal, silver tequila, clove-infused honey syrup, fresh lime, sriracha bitters. At Apartment 138 in Brooklyn.
Naked & Famous: Del Maguey Chichicapa Mezcal, lime juice, Aperol, yellow chartreuse. At Death & Company in NYC.
Breakfast bourbon: Maker’s Mark, maple syrup, Grand Marnier, fresh orange juice. Kicking off St. Paddy’s day at Craftbar in NYC.
Follia cocktail: Prosecco Rosé, Aperol, lemon juice, honey. A fantastic and refreshing brunch beverage, a bit lighter than a more typical mimosa. At La Follia in NYC.
Cantarito: Herradura silver, grapefruit, lime and lemon juice, salted rim. At Panzano in Denver.
